Laboratory, Show cooking and themed dinner to discover this precious spice

The next tour onboard Wine Bus is on Friday 7 December with departure from the Infopoint in Trieste (Via dell'Orologio 1, corner Piazza Unità d'Italia) at 4 pm and from the Infopoint in Udine at 5 pm. At 5.30 pm arrival in Clenia, in the Natisone Valleys, in a pure and unspoiled environment, where tradition and respect for the soil are still essential values to grow the organic saffron “Oro del Natisone” (gold of the Natisone river).
Next stop at Agriturismo Monte del Re for a sensory workshop focusing on this precious spice led by Andrea Tanda, agronomist and owner of the farm Fiore del Natisone: you will discover the exceptional qualities of saffron, the manual picking and transformation methods.
Then, you will experience a fantastic show cooking: the chef will show you how to prepare fantastic dishes at home to delight your guests at Christmas time! The wine tasting will be led by Giovanni Munisso, an engaging wine animator. A dinner full of genuine emotions for the palate to enjoy the organic saffron “Oro del Natisone”.
